Edward J. Harshman, MD
Patented but unpublished research includes a rehabilitation device for gait training, which is intended for people with weight-bearing restrictions on a lower limb who need to learn to walk carefully. For more information, click here.
Dr. Harshman recently originated a method for determining thoracic motor innervation without the need for electromygraphy. He hopes to have it published soon. And his theory on dyslexia and letter reversals, derived from the neurophysiology of the eye muscles, may make a difference in reading instruction and has been handed over to a branch of the Maine government for use in its prison education. See his economics analysis here.
With three logic-puzzle books published (and a book on social interaction for the disabled ready for publication), Dr. Harshman is your first choice if you want a physiciain who can take an unusual approach to your problems.
